The front of the Sonata Plus is what some would call plain, and others call modern and sleek. The main structure of the front is silver, with black contrasts and copper trim. There are 4 external 5.25" drive bays, one of which can be used as an external 3.5" bay.

Common with most other cases, the Sonata Plus has front ports, buttons and indicator lights. The power switch illuminates blue when the computer is powered on, and the reset switch is below it. The hard drive indicator light, on the left side of the case illuminates blue as well, when the hard drive is accessed.

The front ports (rotated clockwise in the image below) consist of a Firewire port, 2 USB 2.0 ports, and audio jacks: stereo out (for headphones) and microphone in.

The copper colour trim on the sides of the front panel of the case are used for ventilation. Air passes through the trim to enter the case. This trim runs up and down the entire length of both sides of the front panel.
