CrystalDiskMark tests read and write performance with incompressible data using different random block sizes and sequentially. Generally, the HyperX and Vertex 3 lead the pack and don't suffer performance wise in these tests like the Mercury Electra 6G with it's asynchronous NAND. Crucial's m4 performs well, but still behind the performance of the Sandforce drives with synchronous NAND.
